TrainingPro, the national leader in mortgage education, recently announced it is now an approved mortgage education provider in the state of Minnesota. With the addition of Minnesota, TrainingPro has reached its “30-state” milestone for mortgage education. TrainingPro offers state-approved mortgage training curriculum in all 30 states that require continuing education, pre-licensing or a combination of both.
TrainingPro will provide the educational requirement for individual licensing of mortgage professionals conducting business in the state of Minnesota. Effective March 1, 2008 all licensure applicants will be required to complete 15 hours of educational training prior to becoming a loan originator in the state. All existing loan originators are required to complete the course by March 1, 2008.
TrainingPro’s course, “Understanding Mortgage Fundamentals: The Starting Point for Success” includes topics such as RESPA, TILA, ECOA mortgage products, mortgage practices and Minnesota state mortgage lending law.
