Joint NAC Offering Being Deployed at Houston Area College Campuses
Mirage Networks, developer of a patented Network Access Control (NAC) solution, and the Broadleaf Group, a Houston-based technology consultancy firm, announce their partnership and first joint customer, San Jacinto College.
“The NAC security market segment is very crowded and often confusing to our customers,” said Jason Knight, managing partner of Broadleaf Group. “For several months we were looking for a NAC solution for our customers that worked as advertised by the vendor; infrastructure independent, agentless, easy to install and use, and cost-effective. After successfully testing Mirage Networks at several Houston companies we were convinced that this was the solution that we were comfortable recommending to our customers. The San Jacinto College contract award was further validation of the decision we made to team with Mirage. It was also helpful that Mirage has an alliance with IBM Internet Security Systems (IBM ISS), one of our key partners.”
The Broadleaf Group is a technology advisory firm that partners with a range of specialty consultants and professional organizations to bring IT and business certainty. Broadleaf’s clients include companies in vertical markets such as oil and gas, energy, finance, manufacturing, education, and healthcare.
“The Broadleaf Group has an impressive skill-set for delivering technology solutions to specialized industries with complex and unique needs,” said Greg Stock, president and CEO of Mirage Networks. “They were a natural fit for our NAC solution, and the successful joint deployment at San Jacinto College proved it.”
