Enhancements Powered by Upgraded Intelligence Engine, ALEKS AI-2
ALEKS Corporation, a leading provider in K-12, Higher Education, and consumer Web-based assessment and learning solutions for mathematics, today announced the release of an upgraded High School Geometry course product designed to create a more productive and rewarding learning process for students and teachers. The new ALEKS AI-2 intelligence engine makes the course more student-friendly and reduces faculty workload.
ALEKS developed the new AI-2 intelligence engine based upon extensive feedback from instructors and students about each of the courses offered. The ALEKS AI-2 engine enhances this course with more accurate assessments and greater flexibility in directing student learning. In addition, the course features over 40 new problem types and a content editor that allows the teacher to remove over 100 topics, allowing for better curriculum coverage and class customization. The High School Geometry course also incorporates realistic input tools, including proof and construction tools, that create a free response environment.
“It’s critical to ALEKS that we continually build on the learning solutions that propel student success,” said JP Lenney, Senior Vice President of ALEKS Corporation. “The new High School Geometry course will allow teachers to better meet the unique learning needs of each student, while delivering the enhanced benefits that our users requested.”
The new High School Geometry course is ready for immediate use as a core curriculum product or as a supplement for remediation, intervention, gifted or after school programs.
